VISION

To become a pioneer for English Language Teacher Educators with original studies in the light of science and technology.
1) To conduct research for the activation and development of its activities,
2) To carry out studies on the dissemination of research findings and the promotion of new developments, to prepare reports, to bring together stakeholders by creating opportunities for information exchange and cooperation,
3) To organize and participate in training activities such as courses, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, projects, conferences and panels,
4) To continuously bring suggestions to the curriculum in order to keep the English Teacher Education profession out of date and to maintain its quality,
5) To design and implement teacher training certificate programs,
6) To provide all kinds of information, documents and publications necessary for the realization of the purpose, to establish a documentation center, to publish publications such as forums, newspapers, magazines, books, bulletins, and journals in line with its objectives,
7) To carry out guidance services regarding the arrangement of the English Teacher Education profession, the selection and supply of educational materials, to provide technical and scientific consultancy and expertise to the relevant persons, institutions and organizations, to carry out the necessary coordination and partnership works,
8) To provide a healthy working environment for the realization of the purpose, to provide all kinds of technical tools and equipment, fixtures and stationery,
9) To carry out fundraising activities and to accept donations within the country and abroad, provided that the necessary permissions are obtained,
10) To open clubs, establish social and cultural facilities and furnish them so that its members can benefit and spend their free time,
11) To organize meetings, concerts, balls, theatre, exhibitions, sports, excursions and entertaining activities etc. for the development and maintenance of human relations among its members to enable them to benefit from such activities,
12) To buy, sell, rent, lease movable and immovable property needed for the activities of the Association and establish real rights on immovables,
13) To establish foundations in the country and abroad, establish a federation or join an established federation, if deemed necessary for the realization of the purpose, establish facilities that associations can establish by obtaining the necessary permission,
14) To carry out international activities, to be a member of associations or organizations abroad and to cooperate with these organizations,
15) If deemed necessary for the realization of the purpose, without prejudice to the provisions of the Law No. 5072 on the Relationship of Associations and Foundations with Public Institutions and Organizations, to carry out joint projects with public institutions and organizations in their field of study,
16) To create platforms to realize a common purpose with other associations or foundations, unions and similar non-governmental organizations in areas that are related to the purpose of the association and not prohibited by law,
17) To carry out all kinds of activities that are necessary for the realization of the purpose and that are not prohibited by the laws, Field of Activity of the Association the English Language Teacher Educators Association operates in the scientific, educational, social and cultural fields in the country and abroad, and
18) in the long run to get the permission by the Council of Higher Education (CHE) for the accreditation of Schools of Foreign languages at the universities in our country and by the Ministry of National education (MoNE) for the private high schools’ foreign language activities.
